It all started with a frustration.
As someone passionate about derivatives markets, I kept hitting the same wall every day: backtesting tools that were either too complex or too simplistic. Interfaces designed by engineers for engineers. And outrageously expensive prices just to access quality data.
Let's be honest: mastering options takes time. A lot of time. Reading a few articles or watching videos isn't enough. You need to practice, test strategies, simulate scenarios as if you were in real market conditions for months, sometimes years. Paying premium subscription fees throughout this entire learning journey? Unacceptable.
And then there are the brokers. To access real-time options data, most require deposits of several thousand dollars, minimum trading volumes, and lock you into platforms that are often far from user-friendly. You become dependent on them before you've even made your first trade.
